My name is Will Ringwalt-Johnson. I am a multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, TN. I have a B.M. from Oberlin Conservatory and specialize in Country, Bluegrass, and other forms of American roots music on Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Electric Bass, Pedal Steel, Mandolin, Dobro, and Fiddle.
In 2020, my wife Anne Malin Ringwalt-Johnson and I released an album, "Waiting Song," which you can listen to on any streaming platform or buy at Bandcamp.
What I Do:
I am available to contribute any of the instruments I play to songs—either remotely or in person in Nashville. For examples of work that I've been a part of, please see the adjacent Spotify playlist.
One of my favorite things to do is to compose and produce original music—both for myself as well as for clients across various media formats.
I am available to teach guitar lessons on Skype up to an advanced level. I'm also available for lessons on other stringed instruments as well as audio production.
I spend at least as much of my time doing repair work, studio installation, audio editing, and mixing as I do playing music. I somewhat specialize in multi-track cassette recorders, as well as vacuum tube equipment, although have experience with much more. I sell vintage audio equipment at my Reverb store.
